Kodi: Removed File From Library
I'd love the ability to delete the actual file from the pc when it's deleted from the library. I'd prefer non having to go through windows explorer and delete ane by one then clean the library. Optimally Itd be awesome to apply my remote to get through the xbmc library and if I run across if there is a picture show I'd like removed, click context menu and delete the file from the library likewise as from the pc. Is there any manner to add together this functionality?
No reason to add together it. It is already at that place. High-lite an item and open the context menu and cull remove from library. When y'all remove from the library it should ask if yous desire to delete the file, just choose yes. FYI, information technology only deletes the file not the associate files that may go with it and the folder information technology is in.
Wait at settings\advent\file list to enable renaming and deleting from within file view or from the file explorer.
Settings->Appearance->File Lists->Allow file operations.

Is this only possible in file view? Can it exist used in library view? I don't see the option in library view, just remove from library.

information technology will enquire after you removed information technology from library
Exist conscientious if you store your movies in seperate folders etc though, as I was unaware of its actual behaviour initially and ended up with over 40gb of orphaned files located in folders I believed to accept previously been deleted.
Information technology works perfectly for TV Shows but differently for Movies fifty-fifty when you set xbmc to know you lot are storing files in seperate binder.
I'd actually similar to run across this feature improved upon for frodo,
Peradventure:
Remove from library? > (yep) > Delete file?> (yes) > Delete containing folder if binder name = picture show championship? (yes/no)
Even permit the "delete containing folder option" to be switchable in the settings menus (disabled past default) but switchable to yes/no/always.
Bearish that would work?
Would salvage me a lot of grief anyway
